Great value in the winter months, very clean and attractive space. Nice bathroom, good shower head, but no lid on the toilet seat. Good location, walkable to the beach with a peekaboo view of the ocean. Kyle was a great communicator and responsive host, especially when the power went out. Cons: paper thin walls with the neighbors and tons of noise from the downstairs brewery on the weekends. There was an art festival on the grounds one day and I had to park in the parking garage. I was charged $15 for parking when the host said it would be free. Bed pillows were lumpy so bring your own. Would I return? For the price, absolutely yes. It was worth the annoyances to have a great deal on a cute space.

The loft was clean and worked fine for a short stay, but overall it didn’t meet my expectations. The bed was okay, but the rest of the furniture was uncomfortable and not very inviting. Water pressure in the shower was very low, which made it less enjoyable. Because the unit is above a brewery, there is a strong beer smell in the hallways and noticeable in the room as well. The biggest issue was the extremely thin walls. I could clearly hear neighbors having normal conversations, which made it feel far from private. If you value quiet and privacy, this is important to know. It wasn’t a terrible stay, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Regarding the beer aroma in the hallways and noticeable in the unit—this is inherent to our location directly above an active brewery. We do our best to minimize any carryover into the living space with ventilation and sealing, but the distinctive scent is part of the unique character of staying in this vibrant spot. We always highlight the brewery location in the listing description so guests know what to expect. This is a historic building so it has thinner walls than newer construction. First of all thank you to having someone that communicates so quickly and friendly. These lifts are so beautiful. I love the open rafters ceilings, convenience, and the space for the price. Washer and Dryer what a life savor. Also, sitting over beautiful Grand Strand park with amazing bands and live music. I would love to have a Cinderella terrace and elevator lol but other than that I already miss it. Thanks Kyle so much.

I loved my stay at the Lofts at Grand Strand Brewing. The space felt like a stylish little city loft – super clean, modern, and thoughtfully set up with everything I needed for a few days away. The bed was really comfortable, the AC worked great, and I appreciated the little touches that made it feel more like a boutique hotel than a typical rental. The location is a huge plus. Being right above the brewery was actually awesome – it was so convenient to just walk downstairs for a great beer and food, and then head right back up to my place. I also felt safe and comfortable coming and going, and it was an easy drive to everywhere I needed to be in Myrtle Beach. Check-in was smooth, communication was clear, and everything matched (or exceeded) the listing. I’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, unique place to stay in Myrtle Beach.

The lofts were an excellent choice for my stay as I was taking care of someone 15 minutes away being above the brewery was such a cool vibe, excellent spirits, friendly staff there were excellent restaurants on the same block the only negative point that I would bring up is that during the week the lofts were very quiet, but as the weekend approached the walls are very thin so you could very much hear other people moving around. It wouldn’t stop me from staying here again if I were in the area.

Kyle was very responsive and friendly. He kept in contact with me and my sister. His place was very clean and the area was just beautiful and quiet. During the day good walk, close to the beach and the surroundings was just serene.

Great spot to stay for beer lovers. Cozy mill vibe. Near a lot of food and drink options. The only thing that I think is worth noting is the door between units allows a lot of sound, this is probably due to the spacing or thinness of the door. I think I was lucky due to it being the quiet time of the year. Regardless I had a great stay. Well worth it

The shower had black residue around the rim (soap scum) needing to be cleaned and caulked. Extremely low water pressure when using the shower. There are tankless water heater so you will need to run the hot water for at least 5-10 minutes before it gets hot. The elevator was down, which required carrying bags up two flights of steps (NOT handicap accessible until they fix the elevator). If you want complete privacy, I recommend asking for a loft without the connecting room. We stayed in Loft 202. You can literally hear EVERYTHING coming from the adjacent room. It is in a heavily trafficked location. In addition to it being over top of a brewery, you can hear sirens, engines, motorcycles, & large crowds all night). Again, if you’re seeking tranquility, this is not the place to stay! Despite all of the above, overall it’s a very nice space. It looks so much better in person. Kyle responded very quickly and provided easy to follow instructions. I would definitely come again!

Thank you for providing this feedback so I can address these maintenance issues in the room. One note about the elevator is that it is in the description of each listing that there is no elevator and guests must use stairs. Overall glad you had a great stay and hope to have you back soon!

We arrived to the area for a week long stay with our 2 year old. Our stay with Kyle was no planned, when we arrived to our originally booked airbnb we knew we needed somewhere else- fast! Thankfully we were able to stay the week at Kyle’s place! It fulfilled all of our needs, very central location and most importantly it was CLEAN and looks exactly like the photos! So very thankful and grateful.

This place was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect walking distance from everything and having a brewery downstairs was great. Everything was very clean and the instructions left me with no questions! I felt right at home. I will definitely be returning to these lofts on my next visit.

We were there as a mid aged couple for the Spring Bike Week 24. Great location, Brewery down stairs has good food and beer. The Loft was exactly as described in very good and clean condition. Nothing missed, everything real stylish. Large enough, to not feel cramped in, as some other rooms we were before. This is not cheap, but it is definitely worth the price. Kyle was a very good host, we messaged twice and both times got a response within two minutes! That is top class super host!

2nd time staying here ...loved it! There are some really great restaurants in the area within walking distance & a few new popping up. We esp loved the new bakery/cafe Le Manna, right around the corner...open for brkfst, lunch & dinner! There's a new wine bar....didn't get a chance to try it out...maybe next time. And the brewery staff are always so cool, helpful & friendly. Even tho still no elevator....really enjoyed our stay here. 5 stars again for sure.

This was a last minute stay. Loved everything about it. Great bar/brewery underneath the loft. Super clean and modern just like the pictures. Kyle was very quick to respond with clear instructions. Would stay at Kyle’s place again!

My partner and I stayed for a week at the lofts and had a great time! The location was perfect, in the center of many activities and restaurants and a few minutes walk to the boardwalk while still giving us enough privacy. Our host was very kind and gave us thorough directions on how to access our loft as well as other amenities we may use. If we come back in the future we will definitely stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay here. There was a minor issues that I reached out to Kyle about and he cleared up really quickly. I also liked that he got back to me so fast. This place was not only super nice inside but it was in a really good area within walking distance to many shops and the beach. I enjoyed the brewery downstairs and the bartenders were amazing. The only thing I do want to say is that if you are a light sleeper do not stay here. You can hear everything from people coming in and out of their rooms and the people staying beside me were incredibly loud.

The Grand Strand Brewery Loft's is located @ a private & peaceful location. It has a wonderful view! A bar & restaurant is right downstairs (making it convenient). It's a five minute walk to the beach from The Grand Strand Brewery Loft's. Any guest would love their stay, b/c Kyle's place was spotless making you feel right @ home. Kyle was responsive to any questions/concerns that we'd. Thanks Kyle for everything! We enjoyed our stay.

The rental was clean and had what we needed. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin heard every word from the other units. It was supposed to be a non smoking rental. There were renters smoking pot the whole time. Did not feel real secure because even though we had to have a code to get in from outside the rental, anyone could come up from the brewery. Not a good set up. We won’t stay here again.

Lovely efficiency units above the Grand Strand Brewery. It was clean and had great amenities. Only problem we experienced was noise transfer between the units. Conversations, cat meows, dog barks … all were easily heard. Overall, we would stay again because of the location and price.
